This construction is valid for floor constructions located above uninsulated or unheated space
* Based on 50mm & 100mm rigid wood fibre insulation
** R-value of JUPITER IDEAL system only
For upper floor installation see construction ECO-BJ1U.
When installing timber floors without tongue and groove edges it is advised to install building paper or similar under timber floor as possible shrinkage of timber will expose aluminium diffuser plates beneath.
Glue and screw supporting ply to battens.
Aluminium diffuser plates should be flush with top of joists.
