This construction is valid for floor constructions located between rooms heated to equal or similar temperature. No further insulation is required to meet Part L requirements.

 

For ground floor installation see construction ECO-BJ3G.

When installed the Fermacell elements may follow any undulation that occurs from the joists. This may need to be taken out with the use of a thin levelling compound.

 

Aluminium diffuser plates should be flush with top of joists.
