VDI 2035 - Water Treatment In Heating Systems

Updated: Feb 8, 2022

It is a well known and accept that chemicals such as corrosion inhibitors, oxygen binders or hardness stabilisers are not necessary in preventing malfunctions and damage within heating systems and other closed water circuits.

The VDI 2035 standard is built around creating an environment in which corrosion is unlikely. The methods employed are based on natural science rather than chemical additives.

Blockages, scale, damage to pumps, seals & gaskets can greatly affect the the reliability of any heating / cooling system and can reduce the lifespan of expensive components let alone the inconvenience of down time.

The Elector water treatment system overcomes the issue of corrosion without chemical additives. More detailed information on this system can be found here
