SCREED REPLACEMENT TILE
Post Installation Guidelines
Once installed the Screed Replacement Tile system requires 48 hours to completely cure.
The Screed Replacement Tile system is capable of accepting foot traffic typical of a building site and, provided that certain precautions are followed then our system can be used as a working surface before the final floor finishes are fitted.
The system can be used as a working surface if the following precautions are observed:
-
Towers and scaffolding should be erected on at least 1 layer of 18mm ply
-
Pallet trucks with load should be used only on 2 layers 18mm ply
-
Scissor lifts and cherry pickers should only be used on 2 layers of 18mm ply and must be driven slowly
Cherry pickers permissible to 2 tonnes with additional 2 layers of 18mm ply.
Scissor lifts permissible to 2 tonnes with additional 2 layers of 18mm ply.
The Screed Replacement Tile is at risk of damage if the following points are not observed:
-
Pallet trucks of ANY kind should NOT be used directly on the system
-
DO NOT apply heavy/point loads at the edge of the system
-
DO NOT allow scissor lifts, cherry pickers etc. on to the floor without 2 layers of 18mm ply
-
DO NOT proceed with final floor installation on damaged or loose tiles
-
DO NOT allow any foot traffic on the system before the 36 hour cure time

Cherry pickers permissable to 2 tonnes
with additional layer of 2 x 18mm ply.

Do not apply loads at edge of system. Warning tape should be used.

Towers and scaffold should be erected on 1 x 18mm ply sheet.
